I just have to say a few things about those pics I sent the Goddess.

The first two are nice, in my opinion. I sent the Goddess the '70's bearded/long haired Mike as a gift. I believe the Goddess said she really liked '70's Nez.

I apologize for the second picture...it's horrible! Nez all glammed up.  He looked so much better as Princess Gwen.  But, I just had to show the BB junkies that even this newbie (who is a Nez lover),can in fact, bash the man.

Oh my God!  This will teach me not to look at the Box while I'm at the office.  I saw that first pic of Mike and couldn't concentrate on work for half an hour.  Then I went back and looked at it again!  I usually prefer clean-shaven Mike, but that pic is fucking incredible!  Thanks for sharing, NSL.

The pics I sent are from a batch of old Tiger Beat magazines that I just acquired.  I just had a quick look through them and those were the ones I picked.  I did see one, which I didn't send to The Goddess, that has the guys' measurements (shoe size, inseam, sweater size, etc.)  Of course, they forgot the most important measurement...

I'm also trying (emphasis on "trying") to write a bit of smut.  I've got the sex part pretty much done, now all I need is a story to wrap around it.

I just read NLS's story. Very nice. It was different seeing Micky as the aggressor. It's usually the other way around. I think MC would like to read this one, don't you Dona?

Oh, and while I'm on the subject, last night mc forced me to watch first season eps at gunpoint.  I never watch them because I need good-hair Micky's for any enjoyment.  After hours of this torture, I realized just how annoying Micky really is, and his only saving grace is his curly hair in season two.  He's so fucking goofy and irritating that I found myself fast-forwarding to Mike scenes. 

Now here's the real tragedy, I've always held M&M in rather equal standings as far as sex appeal goes, in fact, over the years Micky has even pulled away from Mike as the number one fuck-me boy, with Mike always right behind him (where he should be).  But after last night, I came to the realization that Micky simply can't compete, at least not without his curls.  Mike was just too devastating and Micky too annoying, and now I have to sit through hours of season two eps just so I can tolerate him long enough to have a good M/M fantasy.

I just had to get that off my chest.  Thank you for listening.

You had a lot to get off of your chest, Dona. It's been a long time since you've done that. 

I do see your point on a few things. Personally, I think Micky was even worse, as far as being goofy, in the second season. He was trying too hard to be a "Jerry Lewis" kind of comedian. Which does tend to annoy me. His facial expression often makes me cringe. I will say I didn't think he was all that bad in the first season. Some times he looked good; when his hair didn't look so damn fried and dried out. The second season, he did have the curly hair and his ass was much tighter. So our eyes were more drawn to that. So that helped with the annoying sense of humor. That and the fact that he was stoned 97% of the time. The drugs always seemed to calm him down.

The main problem with Micky is his poor acting abilities, if you can call it that.  The cringe factor is so high that it cancels out any cuteness and sex appeal that he might have had, at least for me.  That is until the second season where a good portion of his face was hidden under all that hair which made the goofiness a little easier to take.  And yes, it did help that he was stoned most of the time.

I think the measurements are a little off, too.  I always thought Mike looked about 2 inches taller than Micky, at least until Micky's hair made up the difference in Season 2.  But you will notice that Mike's shoe size is bigger than Micky's, and you know what they say about men with big feet...  ;)

This might be controversial, but what the hell?  I actually prefer Micky with straight hair.  I mean, he looks good both ways, but I always thought he looked better with straight hair.

More controversy?  I prefer Season 1 over Season 2.  I don't know... I guess they just all seem bored in Season 2, at least toward the end.  Plus, Season 2 has a few Mike-less episodes and the virtually unwatchable Paris episode.

What?  The first season episodes didn't work for you, Dona?  I don't understand it.  You must've watched the wrong ones.  Micky was so much more tolerable in the first season.  I won't argue that he doesn't look better with the curls, but he's such an ass in the second season that I can barely stand it - no matter how good he looks.  

Anyway, I'm seeing your bad experience as only a minor setback. There's an adventurous Micky and a sweet, vulnerable Mike deep inside you - just waiting to be written.  If only I could figure out how to convince you that they're there.

I swear I watched the episodes you suggested (insisted on), and then some.  I think it was the 'then some' that was too much to handle.  For example, I watched "The Prince and the Paupers" - big mistake!  I thought I'd give it a try 'cause I remembered Mike looking especially hot in that getup he wears, which he does, but to my amazement, Micky is absolutely unwatchable!  I couldn't stand another minute and had to quickly turn to the "Daily Nightly" video for some brainwashing. I personally can't stand "Prince and Pauper" ep. Have you thought about "Son of a Gypsy"? There are some really good M/M moments in that one. Maybe..."A Coffin to Frequent" would be a good one. She told me to watch "Got a Little Song Here" that Chow Mein episode, and "Monkees on the Line".  She was especially insistent on the first one cause of Mike's "vulnerability", which doesn't bother me, but I prefer Mike in his alpha-male role.  Mike playing leader just comes naturally to him, while Micky always seems to be "acting" (poorly) his parts, whether he's trying to be smart, or funny, or just plain goofy he's just never very convincing.

I don't know if I can handle any more eps right now.  I think maybe I'll watch "Head" tonight - that's always been pretty safe.

Thanks to all the junkies who have posted kind words about my first M/M story.  The Goddess' help was invaluable, so a special thanks goes out to Dona.

My .02 regarding Micky's hair--I liked it best at the very beginning of the shows, however, I do have to say that Micky's "Randy Scouse Git" hair does it for me. He's nice eye candy in that video.

Now as for the measurements.  I've always put Mike at 6'2" & Micky around 6'. Maybe the teen mags were afraid of scaring the teeny-boppers away.
