Hi all. Here's my snipe for the day. I agree with Leenys and the other thing that I can't stand is when someone with a site starts in on various message boards with the "No one ever comes to my site anymore so I'm going to close it down," bullshit. Boo-fucking-hoo. Now of course what they really want is what usually happens, a whole bunch of responses begging and pleading with them not to close it because it's so great, etc, etc. I have seen this same thing repeatedly and by the same site owners. I say fine! Close it and shut up. Please. That or else fix it so you get some hits.

In regards to leenys bitching session, it seems when she speaks the lurkers come out like parasites and egg her on to get more people wild up. Then another group starts to in questioning it's purpose. If this keeps up there won't be any groups to practice on or get feed back for both gen and slash.

Anyway, I'm working on two series. And I want to get a majority done. I know, I owe some rewrites for some older stories to Dona. And they are coming. *Looks at desk and wonders where the print out is she did before vacation.*

talk about fun, come back from vacation the office manager decides you need to reorganize your files. I left a large box of recyled paper today when I left. I hate coming back from vacation. I still have a pile to get through of work.

The world has lost one of its greatest musicians. John Entwistle of the Who has died and i'm very depressed. He was the greatest Bass player i ever knew and i really loved, he was a great guy and a real rock star. I went to see them in concert only a couple of years ago and he was a real star. He will be sadly missed.

I know how you feel, WTM. I just read about the sad news regarding John Entwistle. It's surprising when people are taken from us with no warning, and I don't know why, but when someone like an entertainer, star dies, you mourn more. I just have to say that although I've never seen The Who in concert, what they did for the Concert for New York after the terrorist's attacks was pure magic. All those firemen and policemen bouncing around, happy to be alive and I guess reminiscing about the good old days when they were young and crazy, and there were no worries. That's what you should have, WTM, no worries. I'm not very religious but, it would be nice to know that the deceased have somewhere beautiful to go. Maybe it's not heaven, but some ideal they always had on where they wanted to be. Crank up The Who's music and think about them singing "Won't Get Fooled Again" at the Concert for New York. If anything, it makes you remember why Rock N Roll kicks ass and why we all have to move on from the bad and celebrate. Cheers to John Entwistle, and 2 U 2 WTM.

What concert for New York? Did I miss that too? It doesn't seem possible. Anyway, I've never been a big Who fan so I can't really say this has a whole lot of meaning for me; I never even knew what his name was. But V, you said one thing that kind of worries me. There's no reason on earth to mourn a celebrity more than anyone else. I mean unless the person really meant something to you and helped you through their art, but other than that they're just ordinary people in a business that hypes them to fame. sorry i haven't been around for a bit, RL has been getting me down. I have now realised that shooting myself is not really a sensible option but maybe some deep therapy is.

Anyway i have been catching up on what is going on and despite not being able to comprehend (maybe it's the tablets) who u are talking about "these certain people" (i hope it's not me), i do agree with what has been said.

Secondly i was deeply saddened by the death of John, he was an amazing bassist and the backbone to one of rock's greatest bands.

Hi all!! here it is Sunday and I'm climbing the fucking walls. Oh man, this is not good!! Anyway, I too was sadden to hear about John's passing. I remember watching the VH-1 concert to help New York City back in November...or was it December. The Who performed several different numbers and John looked like his old self. Life goes by to damn fast. Of course after, The Who was done my dad looked over at me and asked: This is music? LOL This is coming from a man who loves Pavarotti. Of course I like him too, but I also like The Who.

I think if any one of the Monkees was to pass on I would shed a tear...maybe not a big one for Davy, but I think I would still be sad. I know I would be in deep mourning for a very long time, when it's Micky's turn. Hopefully, that won't be for a long time to come. Okay enough of this dying crap!!!

Erin babe, I hope things start looking up. And please don't think we were talking about you. There are some very stupid, senseless and selfish people out there. Hi all! Man what a weekend! Yesterday was my open house. I was planning a party afterwards for my friends and other school mates, like my brothers did. But that fell on the same night as a friend of my oldest brother was having a feild party, at which my the guys (my brothers' band) were supposed to perform at. Long story short... my closest friends and I wound up going to the feild party, and I wasn't able to work on my story. It was a lot of fun though. I got to watch my favorite band perform, hang out with a couple of my closest friends, have guys hit on me, and I got a pretty good buzz going for a while. Not bad huh? Now to work on that story...

I have a question and perhaps a Nez fan can answer for me. I was just over at Videoranch (which is a very cool site, I must say.) It has a FAQ about Mike. Now it has been stated many, many times that Mike helped to create MTV. If this is the case, then why is it Mike created crap back in 1997, with The Monkees 30th reunion TV special, for ABC. The man claims to have written, produced and directed that piece of garbage. It was nice seeing the four of them together again, but that TV special S U C K ED!!! The only parts I liked, were when Davy and Mike both asked Micky for a kiss! :D and seeing Micky in his underwear.:) Then there is Elephant Parts. I own a copy of it...it's pretty good, for it's time. But it reminds of a Monkees show in many ways. There's music and site gags. I don't know, but I have to wonder why Mike, who hated The Monkees and TV for that matter, decided that he would continue to sell brain candy. And nasty brain candy, at that. And take credit for being the first to develope that sort of thing. If you ask me it was Bert Schneider and Bob Raffleson that did that. Hmmmmm. Fuzzy

VR is one of the coolest sites around, isn't it. I actually thought about that site a lot as I was designing Sexessa. I know it's hard to tell, but I did. Anyway, you would have to ask a question like this at a time when I'm up to my tits in work! I have to agree though, that ABC special really did suck. I've never seen "Elephant Parts" but everyone says its good. And as for MTV, I'm sure Mike decides to change history whenever it suits his fancy. That's why no one really gets credit for coming up with that annoying idea, 'cause Mike can't make up his mind if he wants to be associated with it or not, hence the confusion. What an asshole.

Oh and the ABC special thing, it was a bit shit really but i liked it. BTW were u refering to the bit in the Regional Girl video when u can see what looks like a g-string over the top of Mick's pants. In the UK it was only shown once and i wonder if we got to see all of it.

Maybe Mike thought that the Monkees 30th Anniversay wasn't worth putting 100% effort into and wrote the script one night after a drunken binge. Who knows!! I do still like the bit on the beach with Micky's lobster friend LOL and Peter raising his hand to the admittance he had a Monkees lunchbox but Davy annoys me from start to finnish.

Just read it and thought I'd make a comment here. Davy's a grandfather. His daughter Sarah gave birth to his first grandchild, a boy...finally a boy, on July 2nd. I guess Davy assisted in the delivery. Now doesn't that sound a bit odd. Why would anyone want their father in the delivery room? I wouldn't want my dad to see me hanging all out. Maybe he was just helping her before she actually delievered, I would hope so. The baby is named Harrison Rand Jones Mc...something. I feel bad...I don't remember what the last name is. Speaking of grandfather...I think someone needs to set Davy straight. He's been boasting at all the concerts; how he was going to be the first Monkees' grandfather. Bullshit!!! Mike was!! Mike has three grandchildren. I've heard conflicting stories as to who the kids belong to...meaning Christian or Jessica. I heard they were Christian's from three seperate women. Then again I heard at least one of them is Jessica's. So I'm totally lost here. Anyway congrats to the little troll on the birth of his grandson. Hopefully he won't turn out to be as arrogant as his grand father, and hopefully he won't be as short, either. I'm sure he'll be boasting about it at all of the concerts now. Fuzzy
